Reports Of A School Shooting In St. Mary's County, Maryland

A shooting at Great Mills High in St. Mary's County, Maryland has reportedly been contained.

Tragically, another shooting erupted inside a high school on Tuesday morning. This time, in in St. Mary's County, Maryland at Great Mills High School.

The incident was contained around 8:45 a.m., according to a statement by St. Mary's County Public Schools. The school has gone into lockdown.

The sheriff's department is urging parents to steer clear of the high school and to go to Leonardtown High School auditorium instead. The FBI is on the scene, CNN reported.

It’s unclear how many have been injured and if a suspected shooter is in custody. However, a local ABC reporter tweeted that three people were injured.
