Teen Who Escaped The 'House Of Horrors' Allegedly Had A Secret YouTube Channel

Teen who escaped the 'House of Horrors' posted sad songs on YouTube using a fictitious name.

Authorities found out about the "House of Horrors," the 13 children allegedly kept captive at the hands of their parents, when a teenage daughter escaped. That daughter allegedly had a secret YouTube channel that she posted videos on, according to CBS Los Angeles.

The teenager's videos showcase her performing her own original songs using a fictitious name.  Some of the lyrics are sad, featuring lines like “You blame me for everything. I don’t understand." The videos appear to be recorded in the same room.

It's unclear when the teenager allegedly shot the videos and if the parents had any knowledge of them. As previously reported, David and Louise Turpin are alleged to have tortured, starved and kept their children (ages 2 to 29) largely secluded from the outside world. The allegations of abuse include rationing food and hygiene, while the parents taunted the family with pies and pizza.

They pleaded not guilty to multiple felony charges, including torture, child abuse, abuse of dependent adults and false imprisonment. The father has also pleaded not guilty to his additional charge of committing a lewd act on one of the female children by force, according to The Washington Post

It appears that the parents do not think that they did anything wrong. Elizabeth Flores, sister of Louise Turpin, made an appearance on “Good Morning Britain “ and said that her sister is “living in LaLa land."

She says that Louise believes “she didn’t do nothing wrong" and added, “We’re searching for answers just like the rest of the world. We really don’t know what happened. That’s why we’re seeking out answers just like you are.”

Louise's brother previously said that she wanted fame for her large family. He said that the decision to move to Perrier, California was so that they would be closer to Hollywood.

“I believe that my sister wanted a reality show because the very last conversation that I had with her before all this happened — she did actually say that she feels that they would be perfect for TV at one point," Billy Lambert said.

The Turpin children are now recovering and are said to be re-acclimating to society.
