'She's Not A Good Person': Student Says Teacher Had Him Stand Guard While She And His Friend Groped Each Other

“They were just doing it. It was very uncomfortable,” the boy said of Brittany Zamora's sexual activity with another 13-year-old student.

An Arizona student who says teacher Brittany Zamora asked him to stand guard while she and his 13-year-old friend groped one another in their classroom described her as “not a good person” during a recently released police interview.

Police in Goodyear released recorded interviews with both boys detailing the then-27-year-old Zamora's alleged inappropriate behavior.

“I was one of the witnesses, one of the people that saw Ms. Zamora and my friend … touch each other,” the second boy said, adding that he was told to keep the whole thing secret, according to News 12.

He found it hard to recollect what exactly he experienced, according to the Arizona Republic, mixing up the word “vagina” with “Virginia” during the course of his police interview.

“They were just doing it,” the friend said. “It was very uncomfortable.”

The pair apparently asked the boy to stand watch again the following day, but he said he left and didn’t do so. Afterward, the victim told him that he had sex with Zamora.

“It’s, like, weird how a 27-year-old can, like, love a 13-year-old and do stuff,” the boy told police, according to the Arizona Republic. “It’s just crazy. She’s not a good person.”

The second student also detailed an exchange he had with Zamora.

“Ms. Zamora asked if my thing was, um … uncircumcised or circumcised, and I didn’t know what that means, so Ms. Zamora went on her phone and looked up uncircumcised and circumcised,” the boy said, according to News 12.

Their conversation stopped because it was time for recess, the Arizona Republic reports.

The second boy also told authorities that rumors swirled around the school about Zamora and his friend's alleged relationship in January 2018, several months before she was ultimately arrested, according to the Arizona Republic. Some students went as far as saying that the student impregnated Zamora.

Zamora was arrested last year after the boy's parents discovered steamy text message exchanges between the two.

She was charged with eight counts of sexual conduct with a minor, two counts of child molestation and one count of transmitting obscene material. Zamora pleaded not guilty to the charges, and is due back in court in May.
