Interviewing Mearl Mackey

Hernando County Sheriff’s Office Detective Randy Williamson remembers interviewing Mearl Mackey, the husband of missing Florida mother Evelyn "Laverne" Mackey. Laverne vanished in 1981, and Mearl initially claimed that she was in Ohio, taking care of her brother’s sick wife. He later told investigators various conflicting statements.
