On Oxygen's hit show "Snapped," we learn about shocking murders committed by women who, well, seemingly just "snapped." We hear from investigators on the case, the victim's loved ones, and the killer's friends and family. But we don't really hear from the murderer herself.
That all changes with the new Oxygen series "Snapped: Behind Bars." Convicted murderers who were featured on past episodes of "Snapped" come forward to tell their own story in exclusive prison interviews. The premiere episode, which aired in February 2021, featured Sabrina Zunich, who described why she stabbed her foster mother after having an affair with her foster father. The series is now returning for new episodes on Saturday, September 25 at 8/7c on Oxygen.
Season 1 will feature past "Snapped" subjects like Celeste Beard Johnson, who shot her millionaire husband; Misook Wang, who choked her mother-in-law with a purse strap; and Tracie Wolf, who killed her estranged husband.
