Jay Pitts, the best friend of Julie Martin, remembers meeting her for the first time in 1989. Martin was killed on February 1, 2017 in a murder-for-hire plot orchestrated by her daughter, Jasmine Harlee. Harlee wanted Martin smothered to death with a pillow in her own bedroom so she could collect insurance money on her mother's behalf.
