Snapped Bonus: Man Gunned Down In Colorado's Uncompahgre National Forest (Season 26 Episode 5)

On Oct. 15, 1995, off-duty Texas police officer Doug Kyle was flagged down in Colorado's Uncompahgre National Forest by Janice Dodson. Janice said her husband, John Bruce Dodson, had been hurt, and when Kyle came across John's body, he realized he was already deceased. Janice was later found guilty of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison.
