What Happened To Irene Silverman?

Around 4 p.m. on July 5 ,1998, detectives in New York City received a missing person's report for Irene Silverman, an 82-year-old socialite who lived on the Upper East Side. One of Silverman's housekeepers told her property manager that she was nowhere to be found, which came as a shock because she was known to never leave her house.
