Woman Sentenced For Murdering Boyfriend To Marry Her Dad

On Oct. 1, Amanda McClure, 31, was sentenced for her role in the February 2019 murder of her boyfriend John Thomas McGuire, 38. She pleaded guilty to second degree murder was sentenced to 40 years in prison, the McDowell County Prosecuter’s Office.
