Investigating Southern California's Prescription Drug Epidemic

Journalist Lisa Girion recalls investigating the prescription drug epidemic in Southern California. Specifically, Girion covered the case of Dr. Hsiu-Ying “Lisa” Tseng, who was found guilty of three counts of second-degree murder and more than 20 other counts of illegitimately and fraudulently prescribing. She was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison.
